My students from classes 3, 5 and 6 participated in this step. They read the story "I am enough" by Grace Byers. It's a lovely book that tells us that we are all unique; there is no one like us in this world. When things get tough, you have to remember to rise and try whatever it is you are trying to do again.
The book inspired my students in many ways. They wrote what they really liked about themselves on little post-its, because it is important to nourish positive self-image and thoughts.
Then my students picked the thoughts they liked best from the book, illustrated them and copied the wise sayings from the book. In the end we organized an exhibition of their work on our English pinboard.
